The First Group and Pulse Developments announce three hospitality schemes in Sharm
More than 3,200 hotel units and over $670m of investment, of which more than $500m goes to the third and largest scheme.

A partnership between the UK's The First Group and Egypt's Pulse Developments has announced three hospitality developments in Sharm El Sheikh totalling more than 3,200 hotel units. Daily News Egypt reported this on 12 July 2026.
According to the paper, total announced investment across the three schemes is more than $670 million, of which over $500 million goes to the third and largest of them.
What this means for a buyer
The word that matters here is 'hotel'. The announced units are described as hotel keys, and how many will be sold to private buyers does not follow from the report. We hold Pulse Developments in our developer directory and its profile carries exactly this caveat: until the composition of the schemes is published, 3,200 units cannot be counted as future supply in the housing market.
